A gentle introduction into our eBikes and eBike holidays

As you’d expect from Swiss electric bikes, Flyer bikes are top in quality and utilise the very best components. The crank motor and battery are Panasonic branded along with all other components being the very highest quality.

Flyer bikes are extremely reliable and have easily identifiable characteristics and durability. Yet another reason they come with a five year warranty as standard. Flyer is an old name in electric cycling and are widely regarded as one of the very best.

So if you want to try before you buy your own, then please come and try them. They are amazing!

Our bikes are so easy to get on and off. They have gel saddles ideal for comfort.
The high quality Panasonic motors add more power to your legs: it senses how hard you are peddling and amplifies the power to make it much easier and enjoyable – enough extra power to deal with any hill. Even the mountains in Switzerland!

Using the motor isn’t a requirement, If you don’t it is a normal bicycle with eight hub gears, although slightly heaver. If you do use the motor it will gradually speed you up to 25 kph (15 mph). After reaching that speed, the UK legal assisted speed, it gradually cuts out and you are on your own. My max speed is 31 mph going downhill before I chickened out. The hydraulic brakes can’t be faulted.

The batteries take about 4-5 hours to charge up from flat. A full charge costs about 15p. A lot of places let you get an approximate ½ hour boost over lunch if that is better suited to your planning.
Batteries can then charge overnight, there is no limit so they can be left charging until you are ready.
